Affordable and Effective Legal Help

About Lisa Chan

My planning practice focuses on helping families enhance their lives today for a secure future tomorrow. I guide my clients in making the best legal and financial decisions during their lifetime to ensure the well-being of their families. I design each plan to meet the unique needs and goals of each client, while also preserving their family traditions and beliefs. My practice includes family protection, wealth preservation, and family values-based planning, as well as planning for unmarried couples and divorced individuals. No matter where you are in life, just starting out or enjoying a blissful retirement, married or single, I will help you create a plan meeting your goals for loved one's today and for years to come. I believe that the quality of the service I provide to each client is more important than the quantity of my caseloads. I aspire towards building long-term relationships with each client.

I am fluent in English, Chinese Mandarin, and Cantonese. I received a Juris Doctorate degree from Lincoln Law School and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing Management from Concordia University. I served as a court interpreter for the State of Minnesota in the 1990s. After moving to California in 2000, I held positions as Vice President of Business Development at Alphanumeric Group, Inc. in San Jose, CA, and Corporate Legal Affairs Specialist at Sohoware, Inc. in Sunnyvale, CA. These credentials/experiences allow me to provide sound legal advice to my clients.

I am an active volunteer in the community. I have been an attorney for No Fee Wills Panel for Senior Adults Legal Assistance in Santa Clara County since July 2011 assisting low-income seniors with their estate planning needs. Since 2014, I serve as an Asian American Business Council of the Cupertino Chamber of Commerce. As a member of the Rotary Club of Cupertino since 2014, I’ve participated in various projects serving people locally and internationally. I also have strong compassion for assisting families with special needs children. I have been actively working to get funds for musical and art equipment purchases for the Academy of Music and Arts for Special Education of Cupertino, California since 2016.
